Odyssey Bags and Totes represent the passions and life journeys of their creator, Terry Breaux. A bikepacker, world traveler and outdoor equipment designer, today Terry has reinvented himself again as tugboat engineer. For weeks at a time, he sails to the wildly remote and mystic coastlines of Alaska. Out there, he pursues his love of exploration. In between voyages, he found himself in need of a creative outlet and began hand-sewing bags and totes as gifts for friends.

Terry’s diverse life experiences—from pedaling the backroads of foreign countries to navigating the cold waters of the Inside Passage and Aleutian Islands—inspire his bag’s rugged yet elegant designs. Their organic, flowing curves mimic those he sees in nature. As a designer and fabricsmith, Terry also knows the importance of quality construction and fine detailing. Key details of his nautical line are made from decommissioned life-rafts from local vessels. Like his life, each creation is unique and is filled with stories from his odysseys through the natural and creative worlds.
