Our Featured Artist for the November Ballard ArtWalk is stained glass artist Sally Mclaughlin.
Sally became aware art was something she wanted to pursue at a young age. It began with drawing and progressed to painting. Her next venture was working with wood, giving her much practice drawing and cutting designs and shapes. She is currently working with glass mosaics, her favorite subjects, sea creatures. Inspired by her years of living on a houseboat sailing and fishing, she has also created magnificent birds, eagles, and owls, motivated by her time living in the mountains.
