Every tree we mill is a part of Seattle's natural history. Instead of clear-cut or farmed trees, we use city trees that would have been chopped into firewood or chipped. Nearly all of our wood comes from trees salvaged from within 10 miles of our mill & workshop by the arborists at Fluent Tree Pro (fluenttreepro.com), Alan's tree service. We cut the trees into slabs and then kiln dry them. The result is uniquely local furniture, and decorative items. We also sell custom milled slabs to builders and craftspeople.
