Rusted Element Design

Jen Albright

Rusted Element Design is a small maker studio located just North of Seattle and was founded in late 2018. Jen Albright is the owner, designer, and maker. She is originally from Chicago but has lived in Seattle since 2011 and considers herself a true Seattleite, enjoying all that the PNW has to offer. While growing up in Chicago, she was accepted into the early college program at the Art Institute of Chicago then went on to attend college at the University of Illinois at Chicago receiving her BFA in Industrial Design with a minor in Visual Arts.

In 2018, Jen began working with wood again and started learning all about the world of epoxy resin. In late 2018, her wood and resin serving boards were introduced to the world and they were quite popular. Jen joined Venue shortly after their debut. Since then, Jen's work has evolved and most of her work is ocean themed. She currently makes serving boards, cutting boards, bowls, coasters, ornaments, and jewelry.

She is passionate about using materials that are sustainable, non-toxic, and eco-friendly as much as possible. She is proud of everything she makes, and she believes you will be just as proud to own one of her creations. To view more of her work, visit https://www.RustedElementDesign.com.

Lastly, Jen is also a UX Designer and recently worked with the Venue team to redesign their website.
