Kate grew up in Ohio. She received a BFA from The Columbus College of Art and Design in Columbus, Ohio. She's been illustrating professionally for over twenty five years. You can find her illustrations and collages on posters, magazines, stickers, picture books, bus shelters, magnets, home decor and paper products, a fiberglass pig, galleries, boutiques and all over her parent's house. Her love of paper is evident in the collages she makes, rich with color and admired by all ages.  She lives in Seattle and Vashon, and says she often feels like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world.
