Maggie is a Seattle, Washington-based artist who received her BFA in Painting & Drawing from the University of Washington in 2009. As a life-long resident of Washington State, the Pacific Northwest landscape is an enormous influence on her art.  Working primarily in watercolor and gouache, she creates illustrations that are inspired by nature, the cycles of the seasons, and the wild woodland garden that she lovingly maintains.  She wants her work to reflect the power and presence of the natural world around her, celebrating not only nature's grand moments but also its dear and intimate details.
